Out of Bounds Festival - Leogang

This year, the Out of Bounds is truly growing into a festival and takes place on ten action-packed days. As of right now, the Out of Bounds Festivalis no longer just one weekend of bike action on the highest level – in June it's one highlight after another in Saalfelden Leogang. Once again, the UCI World Cup is in town with the disciplines fourcross and downhill. As one of the most important mountain bike dirt jump contests, 26TRIX should definitely not be missed. If you still don’t have enough bike action after that, you're welcome to watch the iXS Downhill Cup, a European Fourcross Series race and for the first time, a C1 cross country race. Even better yet – sign up and take part! At the same time, the festival is a kind of main rehearsal for the World Championships that will come to Saalfelden Leogang in 2012. This year, every bike fanatic will get their money's worth at the Out of Bounds Festival. In June, the world's best riders will battle it out in the four disciplines downhill, fourcross, cross country, and dirt jump in Leogang and Saalfelden. After the success of last year's premiere in the region, this year's highlight will once again be the downhill and fourcross UCI World Cup. For the cross country competition, a brand new trail will be inaugurated and tested for the World Championships. Even a world cup does not necessarily outshine the 26TRIX. By now, the event is considered one of the most important mountain bike dirt jump contests world wide. In 2010, the event had already achieved gold status in the FMB World Tour and will definitely draw many high profile athletes to the region for 2011. Hardly any other contest offers such a challenging dirt line; thanks to the hillside the course is built on, huge jumps are to be expected. The plans for 2011 include giving the course completely new characteristics by adding different elements. Besides the main events, there will be plenty of other things to do. By the finish area, the industry will show what's new in product innovations at different EXPO booths. Various side events and parties make sure that nobody will get the chance to be bored during the ten Out of Bounds Festival days.
